(SportsNetwork.com) - The 32-team field for the CollegeInsider.com postseason tournament was announced Sunday.
The tournament, in its seventh year, expanded from 24 teams in 2012. The CIT also uses the old NIT model where there is no set bracket and future opponents are determined by results of the previous rounds to prevent less travel.
The tournament begins on Monday with NJIT hosting New Hampshire and continues Tuesday with five more games. Those games include Eastern Illinois at Oakland, James Madison at USC Upstate, Bowling Green at Saint Francis (PA), Norfolk State at Eastern Kentucky and UL-Lafayette at Incarnate Word.
Wednesday will see nine matchups: UMES at High Point, Dartmouth at Canisius, Texas A&M Corpus Christi at Florida Gulf Coast, Cleveland State at Western Michigan, Kent State at Middle Tennessee, IPFW at Evansville, UNC Wilmington at Sam Houston State, Northern Arizona at Grand Canyon and Sacramento State at Portland.
The first round concludes Thursday with UT Martin visiting Northwestern State.
