Chiefs RB Charles hurts foot in practice

St. Joseph, MO – Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles was carted off the field during practice Monday.

Luckily for him, he did not suffer a serious injury.

Head coach Andy Reid revealed Charles hurt his foot, calling it a strain, and that X-rays were negative.

Charles rushed for 1,509 yards last season after missing the majority of the 2011 campaign because of a torn ACL.
