Chargers' Scifres has fractured clavicle

San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - San Diego Chargers punter Mike Scifres has a fractured clavicle, the team announced Monday.

Scifres was hurt in the second quarter of Sunday night's 23-14 loss to New England when the Patriots' Brandon Bolden ran into him while blocking a punt. Scifres was sent spinning into the air and then landed hard on his left shoulder.

Scifres was carted off the field with his arm in a sling.

Kicker Nick Novak punted for the rest of the game.
