Chargers place K Kaeding on IR
San Diego, CA – The San Diego Chargers placed kicker Nate Kaeding on injured reserve Monday.
Kaeding appeared in San Diego's first three games this season, connecting on all seven of his field goal attempts and six extra points, but then suffered a groin injury and has not played since.

The team plans to release him as soon as he is healthy.

He has 46 career receptions for 737 yards and three scores over 18 career games (seven starts) with the Rams.
