After a surprise absence for Boston captain Zdeno Chara in Game 2, the Bruins' official twitter account is reporting that the gargantuan blueliner may be back in the lineup for Boston's pivotal Game 3 Monday in Montreal.
Chara skated with the team in warmups before the Bruins' Game 2 loss to Montreal Saturday, but was unable to play due to dizzyness and general weakness caused by dehydration. With his status up in the air for Game 3, Chara traveled with the team to Montreal and appears ready to be back in the lineup.
Coach Claude Julien wouldn't guarantee that Chara would be back Monday night, but he did seem optimistic.
"As we speak right now, it's looking good," Julien said Monday afternoon. "But I can't stand here right now and say he's definitely in."
