The Boston Celtics acquired forward Brandon Bass from the Orlando Magic on Monday in exchange for forward Glen Davis and guard Von Wafer.

The 6-foot-8 Bass averaged career-highs of 11.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in 76 games last season for the Magic.

Davis posted similar numbers (11.7 points, 5.5 rebounds) in 78 games for Boston in 2010-11, while Wafer averaged 3.2 points.

The Celtics also signed swingman Sasha Pavlovic and inked 2011 draft picks JaJuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore.

Pavlovic appeared in 17 games for Boston last season after playing a combined 14 games with Dallas and New Orleans earlier in the year.

In 483 career games, he has averaged 5.3 points and 1.8 rebounds.

Johnson, a forward, and Moore, a guard, both starred at Purdue.

The 6-foot-10 Johnson was named the Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year after averaging 20.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game in 2010-11.

The 27th overall pick, Johnson was acquired in a draft night trade from New Jersey in exchange for the draft rights to Marshon Brooks.

Selected by Boston in the second round (55th overall), Moore averaged 18 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game last season.
