Edinburgh, Scotland (SportsNetwork.com) - James Forrest netted a second-half goal to help Celtic save face and take a point with a 1-1 draw at Hibernian on Saturday.
Paul Heffernan had given the home side the lead with the opener in the 18th minute, and just when it looked as if Hibs would finish the match with all three points, Forrest struck with 13 minutes left to see the two clubs share the spoils.
The result lifts unbeaten Celtic to 23 points as its lead atop the Scottish Premier League table extends to four points. Hibernian is unbeaten in its last two league matches and climbs to 15 points.
Kilmarnock picked up its first win of the campaign on Saturday as goals from Kris Boyd and Jackson Irvine handed the club a 2-0 defeat of Ross County.
Motherwell, meanwhile, got back to winnings ways following its loss to Celtic last time out, getting a 2-1 victory over Hearts on Saturday thanks to Shaun Hutchinson's 83rd-minute winner.
Also on Saturday, Calvin Makongo Zola produced the lone goal in Aberdeen's 1-0 defeat of Dundee United and Steven Thompson scored at the death to see St. Mirren earn a thrilling 4-3 win over St. Johnstone.
