Glasgow, Scotland (SportsNetwork.com) - Celtic put the finishing touches on another title-winning campaign on Sunday as the Hoops rolled to a 5-0 home victory over Inverness.

Celtic clinched its fourth successive Scottish Premier League title weeks ago, and the Glasgow side capped the season with a dominant win to finish the term 17 points clear of second-place Aberdeen, while Inverness sits in third place.

Despite being on a victory lap for the past month, Celtic was the more inspired side on Sunday and Nir Biton put them in front inside of five minutes before Stefan Johansen added a second goal in the 18th.

The hosts then turned on the style over the final 20 minutes, scoring three more times courtesy of goals from Stefan Scepovic, Leigh Griffiths and Kris Commons.

Aberdeen closed out its season with a 1-0 home defeat to St Johnstone as Christopher Kane tallied the lone goal in the 70th minute, while Dundee United earned city bragging rights with a 3-0 triumph over Dundee thanks to a first- half brace from Nadir Ciftci.
