CLEVELAND (Reuters) - Cleveland Cavaliers starting point guard Mo Williams will miss Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers after injuring his shoulder, the team said.
Williams, in his seventh year in the NBA, sprained his left shoulder during the Cavaliers' 108-100 victory over the Toronto Raptors Tuesday in Cleveland.
Cleveland's game against the champion Lakers is a match-up of the teams with the NBA's best records. Williams is averaging 16.9 points, 5.1 assists and 3.2 rebounds a game this season.
