It's reasonable to think that things could get awkward between Sam Bradford and Carson Wentz in Philadelphia.
After all, Bradford requested a trade after the Eagles traded up to acquire the No. 2 pick in the draft to select Wentz. Clearly, the plan is for Wentz to eventually take the starting QB job away from Bradford, who signed a two-year extension with Philly in March.
Bradford recently rescinded his trade request and rejoined the team, and Wentz says he doesn't expect any problems between the two.
"Personally, I don't think there will be a lot of tension. People might make it out to be but the coaches and everybody will be on the same page and I think it will be a really good working relationship for sure," he said, according to NFL.com.
Wentz added that he has not yet spoken to Bradford but that "everybody in that quarterback room and in the entire organization is going to compete and push each other, so I think it will only benefit the team."
We'll find out soon enough, as Bradford and Wentz will be on the field together Tuesday for the Eagles' next offseason workouts.
