Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton missed his second straight practice Thursday as he recovers from a sprained ankle.

Skelton suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's season-opening victory over the Seattle Seahawks. He had to be carted off the field and Kevin Kolb led the team on a game-winning drive.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt has not ruled Skelton out for Sunday's game at New England.

Skelton was the only member of the Cardinals to not participate in practice, while cornerbacks Jamell Fleming (shoulder) and Patrick Peterson (groin), safeties Rashad Johnson (thigh) and Adrian Wilson (ankle), and linebacker O'Brien Schofield (knee) were limited.
