Arizona Cardinals starting wide receiver Michael Floyd left practice Wednesday with an injured left hand.
The Cardinals didn't reveal the severity of the injury that occurred near the goal line at University of Phoenix Stadium. He was in obvious pain when he walked off the field with a trainer.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport is reporting that Floyd dislocated three fingers on his left hand. Kent Somers of AZCentral.com says the wideout could miss 3-5 weeks.
Entering his fourth NFL season, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound Floyd has been the main downfield threat for a talented group of Arizona receivers that includes Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown.
Floyd, a first-round draft -- 12th overall -- out of Notre Dame, caught 47 passes for 841 yards and six touchdowns last season, down from his breakout 2012 year, when he caught 65 passes for 1,041 yards and five scores.
Jaron Brown took Floyd's place with the first unit the rest of practice.
