Daniel Nestor and Vasek Pospisil were doubles winners in the best-of-five 2013 Davis Cup quarterfinal between Italy and Canada in Vancouver.

Nestor and Pospisil won the first two sets before dropping the next two, but prevailed in the deciding fifth set for a 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, 15-13 victory over the tandem of Daniele Bracciali and Paolo Lorenzi.

Nestor and Pospisil served up 28 aces in the four hour and 30 minute marathon.

The Italians are captained by Corrado Barazzutti, while team Canada is led by Martin Laurendeau. This is the first-ever Davis Cup meeting between the two nations.

The Canada-Italy winner will meet the Serbia-USA victor in the semifinals in September.
