Seville, Spain – Real Betis announced on Friday that the club has acquired Arsenal forward Joel Campbell on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old Campbell spent last season on loan at Lorient, where he appeared in 27 Ligue 1 matches and tallied three goals.
Campbell joined the Gunners from Deportivo Saprissa in August 2011, but the Costa Rica international will continue his development away from London for at least another season.
