Auburn Hills, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - MRI results showed no structural damage to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's left knee, the Detroit Pistons announced Monday.
Caldwell-Pope injured the knee in the third quarter of Detroit's preseason loss to the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
The injury has been reclassified as a knee strain.
Caldwell-Pope will miss Detroit's preseason games this week and will be re- evaluated when the team returns following a road trip.
The second-year guard out of Georgia averaged 5.9 points per game during his rookie campaign last year.
