Kyle Busch will start on the pole for Friday night's Food City 250 Nationwide Series race after posting the fastest lap in qualifying at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Busch, a five-time Nationwide race winner at Bristol, turned a lap at 124.971 mph for his record-extending 32nd career pole in the series, including six this season. It's also his third pole at this 0.533-mile, high-banked oval.
Brian Scott earned the outside pole with a lap at 124.873 mph. Ty Dillon qualified third, followed by Justin Allgaier, rookie Kyle Larson and Austin Dillon.
Regan Smith, Trevor Bayne, Brian Vickers and Parker Kligerman completed the top-10.
Points leader Sam Hornish Jr. will start 13th. Hornish presently holds a 13- point advantage over Elliott Sadler, who will roll off 25th.
