Bulls' Deng has torn ligament in left wrist

Chicago, IL – Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng will miss time with a torn ligament in his left wrist.

Deng suffered the injury late in Saturday's game against the Bobcats. Team officials confirmed the injury on Tuesday.

Deng told reporters that he will attempt to play through the injury after a bit of time for healing.

In 18 games this season, Deng has averaged 15.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
