Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng was held out of Saturday's game against the Detroit Pistons because of tightness in his left calf.

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Deng was experiencing tightness and swelling in the calf and "could be better in a couple days."

Deng is averaging 19.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 17 games this season.

The Bulls, of course, were already without star point guard Derrick Rose because of a knee injury.
