Bucs place S Grimm on IR
Tampa, FL – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed safety Cody Grimm on injured reserve.
Grimm started in the first three games this season for the Buccaneers, recording 10 tackles and one pass defensed.
Originally a seventh-round selection in the 2010 NFL Draft, Grimm has played in 14 career games (12 starts) with Tampa Bay, totaling 67 tackles, three passes defensed and two interceptions.
The Buccaneers promoted tight end Collin Franklin to the active roster and signed center/guard Zane Taylor to the practice squad.
