American twin brothers Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan secured a berth in the men's gold medal match at the London Olympic Games.

The top seeds handled unseeded Frenchmen Julien Benneteau and Richard Gasquet 6-4, 6-4 on Court 2 at the venerable All England Club.

The 34-year-old twins, who captured a bronze medal in Beijing four years ago, need Olympic gold to complete a career Golden Slam in doubles.

The 11-time Grand Slam champion Bryans will face second-seeded Frenchmen Michael Llodra and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who outlasted unseeded Spaniards David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez 6-3, 4-6, 18-16 on Day 7. Ferrer and Tsonga are ranked fifth and sixth in the world, respectively, in singles.

The gold medal match will be staged on Saturday, as will the bronze medal match, which will pit Benneteau and Gasquet versus Ferrer and Lopez.
