Boston Bruins forward Daniel Paille will undergo facial surgery on Wednesday.

TSN of Canada reported that Paille, who was struck under his shield by a slapshot from Islanders defenseman Steve Staios in the third period of Monday's 6-2 win over New York, will have the procedure to fix a broken nose and facial lacerations.

The 27-year-old has totaled two goals with a minus-one rating in 13 games this season.
