Browns coach Mike Pettine enjoys Johnny Manziel's magic show as much as anyone, but it won't bother him if Cleveland's offense is boring.

Manziel made a few exciting plays in Thursday's 33-13 win over the Chicago Bears, who rested all their starters. The Browns rookie quarterback scrambled, made some long runs and threw a short TD pass. Pettine complimented Manziel for being able to "pull a few rabbits out of his hat" but thought starter Brian Hoyer looked sharp during his one series, a 13-play, 85-yard touchdown drive.

Pettine doesn't think Cleveland's offense has better energy with Manziel, and says the unit "can be real boring as long as we're scoring points."

Pettine says general manager Ray Farmer has tough choices to make to cut the roster to 53 by Saturday at 4 p.m.
