NEW YORK – Denver and Baltimore need only win next Sunday to take their division titles, while the winner of the Dallas-New York Giants game also gets a division crown.
New Orleans can win its division by beating Atlanta on Monday night, or with a victory on the final weekend over Carolina. The Falcons also are in excellent shape for a wild card, according to NFL tiebreakers, needing one win in the final two weeks. Atlanta hosts Tampa Bay in its finale.
Things are a bit more complex in the race for the final AFC wild card, with Cincinnati, Tennessee, Oakland and the New York Jets in the running. Chicago still has an outside chance for a wild card in the NFC, but must win out.
