Englewood, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with linebacker Steven Johnson on a one-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Johnson has appeared in 41 games, starting seven, in his first three NFL seasons. He signed with Denver as a college free agent in 2012.

The Kansas product made seven starts at middle linebacker last season and appeared in seven other games. He collected 32 tackles to go along with 10 special teams stops.

Johnson has a team-best 27 special teams tackles since his rookie year.
