Berea, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Wide receiver Brian Hartline, a native of Canton, Ohio, has agreed to terms with the Cleveland Browns.

It's a two-year, $6 million deal, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Hartline spent six seasons with Miami before being waived by the Dolphins in February.

The Browns were in need of a starting receiver after Josh Gordon was suspended for at least one year following his latest violation of the league's substance-abuse policy.

The 28-year-old Ohio State product had consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in 2012 and 2013, but had just 39 receptions for 474 yards last season.

In 92 games, 69 of which have been starts, Hartline has 298 catches for 4,243 yards and 12 touchdowns.
