(SportsNetwork.com) - Tyler Wagner makes his major league debut Sunday for the Milwaukee Brewers when they try to snap a seven-game losing streak.

Not only do the Brewers possess the worst record in the majors, but they are in danger of being swept in a three-game set by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Wagner has spent the season at Double-A Biloxi and has compiled a 5-1 record with a 2.01 ERA in nine starts. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2012 draft.

Chase Anderson will make his fourth straight start on the road for Arizona. The righty gave up a career-high 10 hits and two runs in a six-inning start at St. Louis on Monday. It resulted in a no-decision. Anderson has faced the Brewers once in his career. That came June 19, 2014, a 4-1 loss.

On Saturday, Paul Goldschmidt homered twice to power the Diamondbacks to a 7-3 victory. Goldschmidt finished 3-for-5 with four RBI, while Nick Ahmed and starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson each drove in a run for the Diamondbacks, who won Friday's series opener by a 7-5 score.

"When he's going good, we usually have a really good chance to win," Arizona manager Chip Hale said of Goldschmidt. "The one thing he does is drive runs in."

Hellickson (3-3) surrendered just two runs on five hits with three strikeouts over six solid innings to earn the win.

Hellickson notched his 500th career strikeout against Khris Davis for his first out of the game. Davis suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee on the final strike and will reportedly undergo surgery on Tuesday.

Adam Lind, Jason Rogers and Elian Herrera each plated a run and Jean Segura supplied two hits and two runs scored for the Brewers. who dropped their seventh straight game.

Kyle Lohse (3-6) was tagged with the loss after getting lit up for seven runs on 11 hits in just 3 1/3 frames.

"Today was not good," Brewers manager Craig Counsell said. "We needed a big performance and we didn't get. (Lohse) struggled. He's not the aggressor right now."

The Diamondbacks have won seven of their last eight games at Miller Park.

Since April 5, 2013, Arizona has gone 11-5 versus the Brewers.
