The Milwaukee Brewers announced that third baseman Aramis Ramirez will be reinstated from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.
Ramirez will return one month after injuring his knee on a slide into second base on April 3, and aggravated the injury two days later while running the bases in a 3-1 loss to Arizona. Over four games this season, Ramirez has gone 5-for-13 with three doubles.
To make room for Ramirez on the active roster the Brewers optioned outfielder Josh Prince to Triple-A Nashville. In six appearances this season, Prince went 1-for-5 with two runs scored.
