Milwaukee, WI – The Milwaukee Brewers activated second day disabled list on Thursday.
He had been on the DL since July 28 due to a severely sprained left ankle.
Weeks was hurt during a game against the Chicago Cubs on July 27 while legging out an infield hit. His left ankle twisted awkwardly as his foot hit the base.
The All-Star is batting .272 with 19 homers and 43 runs batted in along with 71 runs scored in 104 games this season.
