Brazilian Sandro signs new deal with Tottenham

London, England – Brazil midfielder Sandro signed a new five- year contract with Tottenham on Thursday.

Sandro, 22, joined Spurs from Brazilian club Internacional last March, and has become a key player for the London club.

Capped seven times for Brazil, Sandro is currently out with a knee injury that he suffered in the Copa America in July. He is expected to be out for at least another month.

Tottenham visits Wolverhampton on Saturday in the English Premier League.
