New York, NY – Atlanta Braves starter Kris Medlen has been voted the National League's Pitcher of the Month for September.
Medlen went 4-0 with a 1.00 earned run average in five outings. The right- hander recorded 33 strikeouts in 36 innings and held opponents to a .197 batting average.
Other pitchers who received votes included Philadelphia's Cliff Lee, Los Angeles' Zack Greinke and St. Louis' Adam Wainwright.
