St. Etienne and Bordeaux moved up to fourth and fifth, respectively, in the Ligue 1 table on Thursday after playing to a 0-0 draw at the Stade Chaban-Delmas.
The two sides improve to 27 points apiece, but St. Etienne remains ahead of Bordeaux with a superior goal differential. Bordeaux has drawn three straight league contests.
Both clubs return to action Sunday with Bordeaux heading to the Stade Marcel Picot to take on Nancy and St. Etienne welcoming Lorient to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.
