St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The St. Louis Blues have placed forward Alexander Steen on injured reserve due to a concussion.
Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said Steen's injury was likely to have occurred as a result of several hits in recent games. No timetable has been set for his return.
Steen has 24 goals and 14 assists in 35 games this season. The 24 goals are tied for his career high and trail only Washington's Alex Ovechkin for tops in the NHL.
