Dunedin, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Steve Delabar will most likely start the 2015 season with Triple-A Buffalo after being optioned to minor league camp on Thursday.
Delabar, a 2013 All-Star, was 3-0 with a 4.91 ERA in 30 appearances last season. He was demoted to Triple-A last June and didn't return to the majors.
In seven innings this spring, Delabar struck out nine and allowed three runs.
The 31-year-old right-hander has a career record of 13-9 with a 3.72 ERA in 152 big league games -- all out of the bullpen -- with Toronto and Seattle.
