Blue Jays place Travis on DL

Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Blue Jays placed second baseman Devon Travis on the 15-day disabled list Friday with a shoulder injury.

Travis, who hasn't played since May 16, is hitting .271 with seven homers and 26 RBI.

To replace Travis on the roster, the Blue Jays recalled infielder Munenori Kawasaki from Triple-A Buffalo.
