Portland Trail Blazers center Meyers Leonard and Philadelphia 76ers center Daniel Orton have each been suspended one game by the NBA for an altercation during Saturday's matchup between the teams, the league announced Sunday.
The incident occurred during the fourth quarter of the Trail Blazers' 139-105 win at the Wells Fargo Center. Leonard slammed Orton to the floor as the two were jostling for position, with Orton retaliating by elbowing Leonard in the mouth.
Leonard served his penalty by sitting out Portland's 111-109 overtime win at Detroit on Sunday. Orton will miss the Sixers' game at Brooklyn on Monday.
