Blackhawks' Campbell out for 4-6 weeks with knee injury
CHICAGO (Reuters) - Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brian Campbell will miss at least the first month of the National Hockey League season because of a sprained knee, the Stanley Cup champions said Saturday.
Campbell, a three-time All-Star, was forced out of Friday's pre-season game against the Pittsburgh Penguins early in the second period and did not return.
Campbell had 38 points in 68 games with the Blackhawks last season and added five points through 19 playoff games to help the team win their first Stanley Cup since 1961.
