Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills placed wide receiver Roscoe Parrish on injured reserve with a left ankle injury Tuesday.
This is the second straight season Parrish has been placed on IR, as he missed the second half of the 2010 season with a fractured wrist.
Parrish has one catch for 16 yards this year for the surprising 2-0 Bills.
Naaman Roosevelt was promoted from Buffalo's practice squad to take the open roster spot.
Roosevelt appeared in six games -- one start -- as an undrafted free agent for the Bills last season and caught nine balls for 139 yards.
