Orchard Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone issued injury updates on a trio of players Monday.
Marrone announced that rookie quarterback EJ Manuel suffered a sprained knee in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, but that he expects the Florida State product to be ready under center this Sunday against Miami.
Manuel dealt with a sprained lateral collateral ligament back in early October that did not require surgery, but forced him out of action for four games.
The 23-year-old Virginia native finished 17-of-24 for 193 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, along with 37 yards and one score on the ground.
Safety Aaron Williams (ribs) and defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (ankle) both left the contest, but Marrone remained optimistic, saying that both players will likely take limited reps once practice resumed on Wednesday.
