Dutch qualifier Kiki Bertens topped Spain's Laura Pous-Tio in straight sets to capture the Moroccan Grand Prix title.
Bertens, in her first-ever WTA main draw, slugged through a tough first set before rolling in the second en route to a 7-5, 6-0 win. She dropped just one set all week.
Pous-Tio had a little more experience than Bertens, having turned pro in 2003, but was playing in her first WTA final. She entered this week with a match record of 1-4 in 2012.
The victory was worth a first prize of $37,000.
