Bears sign TE Pope

Bourbonnais, IL – The Chicago Bears signed tight end Leonard Pope to a one-year contract on Saturday.

Pope, who turns 30 next month, has totaled 105 receptions for 982 yards and 11 touchdowns in 103 career games with Arizona, Kansas City and Pittsburgh.

The Bears also waived tight end Brody Eldridge.
