Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Jose Bautista went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, three RBI and three runs scored in the Toronto Blue Jays' 10-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Monday.
Russell Martin went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored for the Blue Jays, who snapped a five-game skid. Danny Valencia also drove in two runs.
Toronto starter Todd Redmond allowed three runs on four hits over four innings. Roberto Osuna (1-0) got the win after tossing 1 2/3 scoreless frames.
"We really needed that game," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. "We'd been scuffling big time."
Chris Iannetta, David Freese and Albert Pujols homered for the Angels, who have dropped two straight since a five-game winning streak.
C.J. Wilson got the start for Los Angeles and gave up four runs on 10 hits over five innings. Mike Morin (1-1) allowed three runs on one hit with two walks while recording two outs in the sixth.
"On the pitching side this is probably our worst game of the year," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said.
The Blue Jays scored four runs in the second. Chris Colabello walked, moved to third on Steve Tolleson's double and raced home on Ryan Goins' infield single. Josh Donaldson followed with an RBI single to left. On the play, Goins was thrown out third. Bautista's run-scoring double and Edwin Encarnacion's RBI single made it 4-0.
Pujols started a three-run fourth with a one-out solo homer. Kole Calhoun doubled, advanced to third on Freese's single and crossed the plate on a wild pitch. Iannetta followed with an RBI double to right.
The Angels took a 5-4 lead with a two-run sixth. Freese led off with a homer and Iannetta hit a one-out double, chasing Ryan Tepera from the game. Osuna struck out Collin Cowgill before giving up an RBI single to Johnny Giavotella.
Toronto responded with four runs in the bottom half. Morin loaded the bases with two outs before handing the ball over to Vinnie Pestano. Martin's two-run single to right-center field preceded Valencia's two-run double to right.
Bautista hit a two-run homer off Cesar Ramos in the seventh.
Iannetta hit a two-out solo homer off Aaron Loup in the eighth.

Donaldson went 3-for-5 ... Angels shortstop Erick Aybar extended his hitting streak to nine games ... The Blue Jays started a 10-game homestand on Monday ... Redmond, who was called up to make a spot start, made a pair of relief appearances with Toronto in mid-April, giving up eight runs over just 4 1/3 innings ...
