Barcelona, Spain – Barcelona attacker Alexis Sanchez will be sidelined four weeks with a foot injury, the Spanish club announced Thursday.
The 23-year-old Sanchez was injured Wednesday on international duty with Chile and left a friendly against Serbia after just 20 minutes.
Tests "confirmed (ligament) damage to his right foot," Barcelona announced on its website.
Sanchez has one goal in 15 matches in all competitions this season.
