Baltimore's Neto named MISL Player of Week
Baltimore, MD – Baltimore Blast forward Adauto Neto has been 12 season.
The 2005-06 MISL Most Valuable Player had eight points in two games, including a hat trick in a 26-9 win over the Rochester Lancers. He also helped the Blast beat the Syracuse Silver Knights 18-10, as Baltimore won its fourth straight.
Baltimore got the wins on back-to-back nights, defeating Rochester on Saturday and Syracuse on Sunday.
Baltimore leads the Eastern Division, while Syracuse, which dropped the first game last week Wednesday to Rochester 22-13. is second. The Lancers are third, followed by the winless Norfolk SharX.
On Friday, the Wichita Wings posted their first win of the season after five straight losses against the Norfolk SharX, 16-11. The Missouri Comets defeated Norfolk 19-9 on Saturday.
On Sunday, the Milwaukee Wave remained unbeaten with a 13-10 win over Wichita. The defending champion Wave are first in the Central Division, followed by the Comets and the Wings.
