Antigua, Guatemala (SportsNetwork.com) - Danny Balin shot 6-under 66 on Sunday and won the Guatemala Stella Artois Open when the final round was canceled due to inclement weather.
Balin finish at 15-under-par 201 at La Reunion Golf Resort for his first win on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica.
Weather plagued the event all week. Officials had hoped to play the final 36 holes on Sunday, but failed to do so. They got well into the fourth round, but had to revert to third-round scores when more storms halted play and it became apparent the final round would not be completed on Sunday.
Balin carded six birdies in a bogey-free round of 66.
Eric Dugas posted a 5-under 67 and took second place at minus-11. Martin Trainer (68), Anthony Paolucci (70) and Linus Gillgren (70) shared third place at 10-under-par 206.
