Auxerre signs Ndinga to new contract

Auxerre, France – Auxerre signed midfielder Delvin Ndinga to year deal, locking up the Lyon target through the summer of 2015.

Ndinga, 23, was the target of an $11.3 transfer bid from Lyon, but the Congo international decided to commit his future to Auxerre.

"Despite my wish to return to the Champions League with another club, I decided to put stability and my family life in Auxerre first and sign for four years," Ndinga said.

"My ambitions remain intact, to help re-establish Auxerre among the top French clubs and in the hunt for European football, and to help boost Congo's image at international level."
