Augsburg survived a late scare but still managed to come away with its second win of the season, defeating Dusseldorf 3-2 at the Esprit Arena on Sunday.

The visitors found themselves holding a two-goal lead before halftime as Sascha Molders and Koo Ja-Cheol struck in the 39th and 44th minutes, respectively.

Molders completed his brace in the 71st minute to put Augsburg in a comfortable position, but Dusseldorf did not go down without a fight.

Stefan Reisinger answered with a brace of his own, scoring one minute after Molders' second of the match before adding one more in second-half stoppage time.

Dusseldorf ran out of time in the end as it retains its position in Bundesliga table with 21 points.

Augsburg inches closer to safety, improving to 12 points.

Nurnberg 1, Hamburg 1

Nurnberg, Germany - Nurnberg and Hamburg scored six minutes apart in the second half as the two sides settled for a point in a 1-1 draw at the Frankenstadion on Sunday.

Artjoms Rudnevs had given visiting Hamburg the lead in the 69th minute, but Tomas Pekhart answered with his second league goal of the season to earn Nurnberg a share of the spoils.

The draw sees Hamburg climb to ninth place with 25 points and Nurnberg improve to 21 points to go level with Dusseldorf.
