The Houston Astros on Saturday signed seven year contracts, including infielder Brett Wallace, outfielder Brian Bogusevic and relievers Fernando Abad and Fernando Rodriguez.

The Astros Opening Day first baseman in 2011, Wallace hit .259 with five home runs and 29 RBI in 115 games.

Bogusevic, who turned 28 on Saturday, batted .287 with four home runs and 15 RBI in 87 games for the Astros last season.

Abad, a left-hander, went 1-4 with a 7.32 earned run average in 29 appearances for the Astros in 2011, while the right-handed throwing Rodriguez compiled a 3.96 ERA out of the Houston bullpen.

The Astros also signed infielder Chris Johnson, catcher Jason Castro and pitcher Paul Clemens.
