Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve left Monday's game against the Tigers after colliding with right fielder Jimmy Paredes going after a fly ball in the second inning.
Altuve exited immediately, and the team later announced he suffered a subluxed right jaw.
Coming into the game, Altuve had recorded the third most hits in the majors (51) while hitting at a .338 clip.
