Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Athletics have avoided arbitration with Josh Reddick, agreeing to terms with the outfielder on a contract for 2014.
Reddick batted .226 with 12 homers and 56 RBI over 114 games last season, his second with Oakland. He twice landed on the disabled list with a wrist injury that required offseason surgery.
In 2012, Reddick slammed 32 homers and drove in 85 runs.
Reddick, who turns 27 next week, is a career .239 hitter.
