The schedule gets no easier for Arsenal on Sunday when the club travels to Old Trafford to face defending champions Manchester United with the Gunners still searching for their first win of the league campaign.

Arsenal's Premiership season started with a 0-0 draw at Newcastle before a 2-0 home defeat to Liverpool last weekend.

One point from two games and zero goals scored is not exactly the ideal start for Arsenal, but the club got a bit of a lift on Wednesday with a 2-1 win over Udinese in Italy that put the Gunners into the group stage of the Champions League.

Arsenal sold Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri in the past few weeks, and while Gunners fans will be waiting for new players to arrive, the club now turns its attention to getting its league form on track.

United will not make that easy as Sir Alex Ferguson's side has opened the season with wins in its first two games, including a 3-0 victory over Tottenham on Monday.

Wenger believes that United should be considered the favorites to retain the title, but that he is fully confident his team can take three points away from Sunday's match.

"They are the favorites because they won it last year and they do not look weaker," Wenger said. "It is up to us to make sure they do not win it."

"Of course [we believe we can get the three points]. We have been very close many times since 2006 and we beat them last year at home so I believe we can do it."

Arsenal has not beaten United at Old Trafford since September 2006, while the Red Devils have won 21 of their last 22 league matches at home.

Manchester City has opened the season in impressive fashion with two wins in two games, and the Citizens will host a Tottenham side trying to rebound from a heavy defeat to United on Monday.

Chelsea claimed its first win last weekend against West Bromwich and the Blues will try to add another victory on Saturday at home against Norwich City, while Liverpool entertains Bolton.

Wolverhampton visits Aston Villa with Wolves having won its first two games of the season, while Wigan has drawn its opening two contests and hosts QPR.

Blackburn and Everton have combined for three losses in three games and the two sides square off at Ewood Park, Swansea City entertains Sunderland, Newcastle hosts Fulham and Stoke City hits the road to face West Bromwich after the Baggies lost to both Manchester United and Chelsea to start the campaign.
